Custom LNA™ qPCR assay development

Exiqon Custom Pharma Services develop custom LNA™ qPCR assays for quantification of any endogenous RNA – microRNA, small RNA, messenger RNA or long non-coding RNA – or exogenous sequences e.g. shRNA.

qPCR assay validation

Exiqon's advanced algorithms are used to design highly sensitive and specific LNA™-enhanced PCR primer sets. The assays can be wet-lab validated according to a range of performance criteria before being implemented in your RNA profiling project.

Custom LNA™ Probes

Exiqon Custom Pharma Services develop custom LNA™ probes to detect any endogenous RNA:
  • microRNA
  • small RNA
  • messenger RNA
  • long non-coding RNA
or any exogenous sequence, for example:
  • shRNA
  • siRNA
  • Antisense Oligonucleotides (ASOs) including Antisense LNA™ GapmeRs

Localization and biodistribution of ASOs

LNA™ probes enable the sensitive and specific localization of DNA or RNA sequences by in situ hybridization (ISH), and are used to monitor biodistribution of exogenously introduced oligonucleotides (Figure 1). LNA™ probes can be readily used in combination with high throughput ISH platforms e.g. Ventana, or alternatively LNA™ ISH Services are available through Exiqon's Center of Excellence.

Quantification of ASOs

Exiqon provides custom designed LNA™ probes for use in sandwich-hybridization assays to quantify the amount of LNA™ antisense oligonucleotide (LNA™ ASO) present in tissue or biofluid (Figure 2).
