Excellent cross-platform correlation between the miRCURY LNA™ microRNA Array (EXI), real-time PCR (ABI) and small RNA cloning (TU). The real-time PCR and cloning data was obtained from published studies on microRNA profiling of various tissues. The miRCURY LNA™ microRNA Array profiling was carried out using commercially available RNA (Ambion) extracted from matching tissues. Only microRNAs with a total clone count >15 across the three tissues were included in the cluster analysis. For sample and gene clustering, Pearson distance metrics with centroide linkage was used.
